LOKUNJE
A gravel city beach in the Southern part of the Novalja bay, around a hundred metres away from the Novalja town centre with a beautiful view of the bay and the town. Next to the beach is also a walk.
ZRĆE
One of the most beautiful and most visited gravel beaches hoisting a Blue Flag, surrounded by a beautiful forest and rich in sports and recreation content (beach volleyball, ski lift, jet ski, bungee jumping, boat rental, slides...). It boasts a selection of restaurants and cafés, a famous club scene that provides an around-the-clock entertainment which makes this beach a top destination for young people on the Adriatic. This beach is 2.5 km away from Novalja, connected with it with a bus line that runs every 30 minutes all day and night. Next to the beach is also a big car park
PLANJKA – Trinćel
A favourite sandy beach that hoists a Blue Flag for parents with younger children. It is situated North-West of Novalja, next to the East coast of Stara Novalja. Covered in fine sand and with a pleasantly warm, shallow sea, it is ideal for children. Recreation content such as beach volleyball, kayaks and pedal boats and cafes make this an excellent choice for the entire family.
STRAŠKO
A 1.5 km long gravel beach in the eponymous campsite hoists a Blue Flag. The dense pine forest provides a pleasant shade and refreshment. Numerous sports and recreation content include beach volleyball, sauna, water ball, kayak, pedal boat and jet ski rental. Along the beach there is a walk with beach bars, pancake bars and cake shops. The beach also has a nudist part with a sport and recreation centre, a top à la carte restaurant and a kiosk.
RUČICA
A sandy-gravel beach 10 km away from Novalja is situated next to Metajna and is an undiscovered gem arrived to over a picturesque rocky passage called Canyon. Metajna is a small tourist spot in a rocky nest on the East side of Pag. The bare rock, reminiscent of the lunar surface allows numerous possibilities of extreme sports, especially rock climbing.
CASKA
A sandy-gravel beach East from Novalja. It is on the location of the ancient Roman town. According to legend, the town was destroyed and sunk in the fourth century earthquake. Its remnants can still be found in the vicinity of the beach and on the sea bottom.
